Convexity of a region
Different constraints aplyed on z=xy/2 are discussed.

The circle with radius = 1
unit x2 + y2 = 1 is a convex
region.
After cutting out the
part x + y > 1 ,
the region
will remain convex.
Let's consider next the
straight part of the boundary,
between the points
(x,y) = (0,1) and (1,0),
as
an elastic string with a bead.
You have now the ability to
modify the region, by pressing
the mouse when the cursor
is on the centre of the bead,
and by dragging it slowly.
Notice the change in colour
of the region, when it loses
or regains its
convexity.
You can always restart from
the initial position of the
bead, by clicking the button:
